ESG & impact

Impact you can count in front doors.

Our measure is homes kept safe, warm, compliant and occupied — for decades. The framework below is how we hold ourselves to that, and how partners can hold us to it too.

The framework

Three pillars, all inspectable.

Environmental

Warm homes, lower bills.

  • Refurbishment-first: reusing existing homes rather than building carbon into new ones.
  • Energy performance improved at refurbishment, with retrofit planned across the hold.
  • Damp, mould and ventilation engineered out, not painted over.
Social

Settled people, stronger places.

  • Homes let to the people on the community's waiting list, never to the open market.
  • Security of tenure by design — the home is held for the long term.
  • Resident voice through panels, and support with money, health and wellbeing.
Governance

Duties in plain language.

  • Clear accountability from board to patch, with a documented scheme of delegation.
  • Compliance evidenced on the platform, ready for audit at any time.
  • Honest reporting — the numbers partners see are the numbers we run on.
What we measure

The numbers we report to partners.

Portfolio reporting covers the measures below, home by home, with the evidence behind each one available on request.

Safety compliance

Gas, electrical and fire certificates in date across the portfolio, with remedials tracked to closure.

Energy performance

EPC profile at acquisition and after refurbishment, and the retrofit programme across the hold.

Homes occupied

Time from handover to let, and occupancy across the portfolio — an empty home helps no one.

Repairs done right

Repair completion times, damp and mould response, and whether the fix held.

Reporting supports partners’ own ESG and social-value returns, in the formats their boards and funders expect.

Partners can see exactly what portfolio reporting looks like — measures, cadence and evidence — before signing anything.
